The property is situated along Putney High Street. Located in a prime location in the heart of Putney it offers a unique opportunity to tie together the neighbourhood and to play a significant part in the future development of Putney High Street. The proposed development will provide a mixed-use scheme comprising retail spaces on ground floor and basement as well as several floors of residential units and penthouse flats above.

The proposed scheme plays with different volumes being interlocked into one another. The three-storey main volume hovers over the large retail frontage, emphasising the prominent corner location. The rear façade is of a solid appearance, reflecting the scale of the adjacent housing blocks. The curved corners emphasise the continuous lines along the high-street and Montserrat Road elevations.

Sitting on the corner of the high-street and a smaller residential road, the building is designed to mediate between the two while completing the high-street elevation. The ground floor retail will open up the side road and lighten the corner and this formerly neglected part of the street.

The building will add a new feature to the Putney Community and emphasise the importance of the high-street as a commercial and social node.
